The Getty Center是美國收藏豐富博物館，以文藝復興至後印象派時期歐洲作品為主，收藏畫作包括Van Gogh梵谷Irises鳶尾花等、Monet莫內Wheatstacks稻草堆等、Renoir雷諾瓦La Promenade等和雕塑、古董等各類收藏。
整個Center的設計屬於現代主義建築，簡潔的線條，明快的色調，室內天井與室外花園渾然一體，集聚細膩與粗糙的和諧美感。室內天花板葉片隨亮度，自動調整角度成最適賞畫自然光亮度，室外建築材質選用Travertine，表面可看到化石，用手拍擊有特別聲音。
在Getty Center白色建築間，遠眺能感受到城市的喧囂與繁華，是看市景很好的制高點，South Building頂樓看近處Century City、Westwood高樓林立，還有遠處的Downtown LA，浩瀚感覺的270度視角，山下405公路是美國統計汽車平均流量最高的一段公路，是南加州對外的主要高速公路之一。
參觀Getty Center不需要門票，但要付停車費15元，就整個C/P值來說，還算挺高的，可惜的是帶著小豆仔，大多數的時間都是讓他在室外走路，反而沒有時間進去室內參觀畫作跟展覽，這是比較可惜的地方。

我也去過Getty Center耶…很不錯的一個博物館阿~~
建築物本身跟館外的造景也都很棒哩…
